Youth Group

    Our Youth Group participates in a variety of activities for both service and fun including hosting the February pie auction, working the April Patriots Day Booth, and helping with the Christmas Pageant. Many of the youth also share their musical talents throughout the year during regular church services and special events.

Community projects supported by our Christian Education program include:

• A living market held each year in early December in support of Heifer International complete with lots of farm animals to hold and play with

• Teddy Bear Sunday in February, teddy bears for the children of Sandra’s Lodge

• Special hungry Sunday collections

• A pie auction and dinner in February for Community Without Borders, to support a school in Zambia

Other meaningful and fun yearly events include:

• Rally Day in September to welcome back the church family and the Sunday School Children

• Creating Thanksgiving Baskets for First Baptist Friends

• Christmas pageant

• Traditional Easter story and Egg Hunt for younger children

• A special Children’s Day service in June

• Vacation Bible School in August
